What are the mount settings for the Win95 partition in your
/etc/fstab? I remember that I had the same problem with my DOS
partitons until I changed the permissions in fstab. When a DOS
partition is mounted, the permissions are given automatically, as the
M$ partitions don't support the Unix permission scheme. The type of
permissions is set in fstab. I can't check how I've done now, as I'm
at work, but man fstab should give you some help.
