Hey there...
I just re-installed the CDE on my 4.2 system... It used
to work, but I disabled it. After reinstallation, I get the
login screen just fine. It won't let me log in as root
(never did). If I try to log in as anyone else, it
doesn't work. It appears as if it is throwing the system
into an unsupported video mode... After a few seconds/minutes,
(,aybe after I press a key), it bombs out & takes me back
to the login screen... Yes, I have a working windows
manager... I am using fvwm right now... I don't know
what video mode would be unsupported, but here's my hardware.
ATI mach 64 2M
Monitor is a DELL 15", multisync
32M RAM
That's all that's pertinent, I suppose... Any help
would be appreciated.
Thanks
