Re: SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER!! rpm says package is both installed and not installed



I have replied once before, but it doesnt seem to have gotten posted. Try
the following:

rpm -Uvh --force kernel-headers*

If the files that it is complaining about are there, then it might be that
the msql rpm was "mis-built"

rpm -Uvh --force --nodeps msql* 

should install the "damn" thing.


If that doesnt work, then we will probably have to rebuild the database
and remove the kernel-headers and then re-install it.
