The reason why RH4.2 won't install with Quantum Atlas Hard Drive.

Hello All,

the reason that RH4.2 won't install if you have a Quantum Atlas XP32150W
hard drive is that the product install2 has a source file called scsi.c that
requires there to be a non-space character between the words "Vendor:" and
"Model:" reported by /proc/scsi/scsi.

Since no such character is reported by the XP32150W, the install2 program
gives up.

I have mailed a suggested fix to Marc, Eric & Donnie at redhat.
(Unfortunately, I couldn't test my fix - but I'm sure they will.)

I think it would be nice if RH release a boot.img for those of us that
suffer this problem.
