I am trying to install on my Laptop Linux.
I have a Panasonic KXL-D720 CD-ROM connected to a SCSI PCMCIA adaptor.
I first start MS-DOS. This loads the CD-ROM driver.
I then run the installation from the Linux CD-ROM.
I answer YES when it asks me for PCMCIA Support.
It then reads the supplemental diskette OK.
Then I choose CD-ROM when it asks for the installation method.
Then it offers me for the CD-ROM Type: SCSI or Other.
I choose SCSI but then I do not see the Panasonic CD-ROM.
What should I do at this point ?
I tried some other manufacturers but that did not work. It
complains about not finding a CD-ROM drive.
