RE: Will Windoze-95 install overwrite MBR?? (fwd)



Hi,

Hmm, well reinstalling will write over the MBR without a doubt.  I don't think
you can tell 95 not to, all Microsoft software assumes it is the only thing ont
he machine.
My solution would be to put LILO onto a boot disk.  The reinstall 95 and THEN
after booting from the Linux LILO disk you could reinstall LILO back onto the
MBR...
