Linux Questions

    Hi.  I just joined this list, and I would really like to install
linux on my system.  However, I have a few questions.
1. Is there any way I could have Win95 and Linux on my system at the
same time and choose which one to use at startup?
2. I downloaded the latest copy of Red Hat linux and ungz'ed it, what is
the extension of it that I type in for WinZip?
Sorry if these questions have been answered many times, but I've looked
around the web for the answers, and I couldnt find them.
