Hello all...
I was trying to build a new kernel (don't ask my why, I guess I just like
to get my hands into something where I am WAY over my head) and I seem to
be running in to a lot of errors. The last one that I got (and can't
figure out) is at the end of the "make boot" command it said this:
as86 -o -a -a bootsect.o bootsec.s
make[1]: as86: Command not found
make[1]: *** [bootsect.o] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/linux-2.0.30/arch/i386/boot'
make: *** [boot] Error 2
and then it ends. I don't know what as86 is, does anybody know and where I
can get it?
Thanks,
BB
