RE: Linux Partition- Still Not working

Have you run fdisk using linux? The install script runs fdisk for you.
One of the first questions during the install deals with editing your
disk partitions. To do so you must select the disk that RH install found
and tab over to edit. This will kick you out to RH's fdisk program. When
there, enter p to print the current partition table, for help, enter m
and you will see a menu of options. You must create your partitions and
size them according to your needs. fdisk should recognize any windows
partitions that you may or may not want to keep. see below.

1. If you want to keep any disk space for windows, you must use fips to
reduce your windows partition size and then leave empty space for RH.
Then use fdisk like below except don't delete the windows partition.
2. If you want to delete windows completeley and use RH only then delete
any windows partitions, create a linux native partition and a linux swap
partition and any other type of partition you may want. Note. use the
fdisk menu-driven program for this.

Good luck and don't forget to back up any data you'd want to keep.
Cheers,
bgarza
