OK, I've asked "those-who-know" and been told from on-high that we only
use 802.3 for the Novell servers, although we are running Netware 4...
(Thanks very much for the background info, tcooper. It was helpful.)
Does this mean that I don't need 802.2?
Perhaps the first question I should have asked was what the heck does
this error message MEAN? Is some process trying to send/receive packets
of both types, and if so which process would this be? Does it mean that
the two specifications can't operate on the same subnet, or that my card
is grabbing up the wrong packets, or grabbing the right ones and reading
them wrong or dancing with a drunken monkey or what?
