some help needed

Hi,

I'm trying to build wu-ftpd-2.4.2-beta-12 which comes with
the distribution of the RH 4.1 CD.

When I try to build the package with :

./build lnx

I get :

make: *** No rule to make target '/usr/bin/libc.a', needed by 'ftpd'.  Stop.

What can I do to make the build work ?

Any help is appreciated.
