Ok, from tcooper's most recent response, I'm inferring that it is
possible for both frame types to run around on the same network, with
each machine only acknowledging the packets its configured to look at.
Then shouldn't I be able to configure my box to send/receive both?
By the way, in the snail mail analogy, what is a "collision"?
