In your sys init scripts, there is a command: 'cat /proc/scsi/scsi'
this tells you what scsi devices are on your system..... IF you have a
ssi controller, as long as it's just at boot time you can probably
safely ignore this.... that is unless you have a scsi controller with
active devices, then you might need to be worried.
I don't quite know for sure on this one:
