Scott, >Attachment Converted: "C:\DATA\MAIL\ATTACH\needadvi" >I am using Sendmail and eudora on the clients and it works perfectly >without any configuration or magic. >Is there something more specific you are having trouble with? Well, I'm having trouble making the correct sendmail.cf for batched smtp. Our Internet Provider is receiving the mail and our Linux box will be dialing the Provider from time to time to empty the queue locally and from the Internet Provider mail server. And, I'd like to know where to make the users for pop3 ? I downloaded imap-4.1BETA, but there is little documentation. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Mail is being send from a pop3 client to the Linux box. The mail is placed in the outq of sendmail. sendmail runs in daemon mode and checks the queue once an hour. During the check it will also check the mail queue at the internet provider's mail queue for incoming. Outgoing will be forwarded to the internet provider's mail server and incoming will be placed in the user's home dir, let's say, ~/rob. The file where this mail is stored is mbox. The ipop3d checks this mbox file when needed.. is this correct ? Thanks for your time, I really appreciate it. Rob oostveen euronet nl
