Making RedHat-CD from ftp

Hi,

yesterday i tried to make an RedHat-CD from our ftp-server.
I copy the ftp.redhat.com/redhat/redhat-4.2/i386 directory as / on the CD,
fine. At home i made the Boot- and Supp-Disk, made an reboot, und choose the
CD-Rom as Source of the Redhat, but the programm says, the CD seems doesn't
contain an Redhat-Distribution. 
How can i made this situation ??

The / directory on the CD looks like structure in the README file.
