I see this the second time you've posted this, Janet.  I don't have much to
help you, but I didn't want you feel ignored...

For eccentric reasons, I still use 2.6.2.  I have the source code for it and I
just build it when I do a major system change (a.out -> elf, libc -> glibc,
etc).  That works quite fine for me, at least for now.

You might want to unpack the binary distribution and see what files are in it.
There might very well be some info with it that will get you started...
