RV: X SERVER INSTALL

Hello friend.

Donwload the following packages from ftp.redhat.com contrib
(contrib/hurricane/i386)

XFree86-100dp1-fonts-3.3.2
XFree86-3.3.2
XFree86-75dpi-fonts-3.3.2
XFree86-Mach64-3.3.2
XFree86-VGA16-3.3.2
XFree86XF86Setup-3.3.2
XFree86-libs-3.3.2
XFree86-xwrapper-3.3.2

Just get those rpms, put them to the same directory an do "rpm -Uvh
XFree86*". VGA16 is needed by XFree86-XF86Setup.
If you have some problem during the installation looks at the pages 123 at
125 of the manual of RedHat 5.0 book where it describes you the solution for
all type of errors.
Once installed all these packages must execute Xconfigurator or XF86Setup
or xf86config and you found the graphic card ATI 3D RAGE PRO.
Some time ago I installed it and work fine

I hope this can help you.

Greetings
