Hi everyone.
I bought RH 5.0 the other day for my AMD K5-133... 32 MB RAM, and I have a
SB AWE64 and an S3 Trio64V+ video card. I'm trying to install to a new
partition - booting from the floppy I RAwrote from the boot.img - no
surprise there. I get into the install program, where it asks my keyboard
map, etc.. I choose "install from CDROM," it asks me to insert the CD, I hit
"OK" and it says "initializing CDROM..." then the dialog disappears & locks
up. During the kernel boot it recognizes all 3 hard drives as well as the
ATAPI CDROM drive as /dev/hdd . Any ideas? I know of no other way to
install...
Thanks for your help.
Paul
