I have been trying so very hard to get my Macintosh network to see the
RedHat boxes
I own. Does anyone know how to do this? I, and others have made various
attempts
at installing NetATalk in vain.
What are the requirements?
Here is my sceneario:
RedHat 5.0 & 4.2 mixed (many boxes)
Macinstosh System 8.1 globally on all Mac's
Using: Open Transport
All I want to do is be able to mount my redhat boxes on my mac boxes so
that to the macs
it appears as just another mac file server.
That way I can throw out my mac FTP clients.
