My first bet would be to change your IP-address range. If I am not
mistaken, 127.0.0.1 is actually 'localhost'. Since 127.0.0.0 is an
A-class address, in effect all addresses starting with '127' are local
to the machine, and should not be sent out on the network. Thus, no
connectivity.
Try swapping to a privat address range;
10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
