Hi All:
I recently installed RH Linux with XFree86-3.3. I then had to
install modified components from S.u.S.E. to handle my STB Velocity
128 video card. All of this seemed to work successfully and I was
able to run X from the root account using the startx script.
However, when I try to run X from any other user account, I am
told that the server needs to have root permissions and I should
use Xwrapper or xdm. Is there an easy way to get X to run with
root process id when logged in as a regular user?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Brian
