Signal 11 is an error that indicates that the program running at the time tried
to use memory that didn't belong to it.  If this is happening when you are
installing it is possible that you have a corrupted version mkfs or mke2fs.  If
you are installing from CD try another one if you have access to it.  If from
the net try redownloading the software.
