On my redhat5.0 system I have an adaptec 2940 SCSI-controler with a CD-R
and a harddisk attached. When I had the 2.0.33 kernel installed both the
CD-R and hdisk were detected on startup. After I upgraded the kernel to
2.0.35 the harddisk is not detected anymore. I included the relevant parts
of the starup messages here.
Now I wonder, does the new kernel or SCSI driver not support this disk
anymore or do I have to configure somthing in relation to the SCSI driver
in a different way to let it find the hdisk again? Or is there something
else that I haven't thought about?
