It's been answered a few times by me over a period of some months, but I
wouldn't know on what date exactly.
Anyway, here it goes: What you should do is play freely with the settings
of the IO port and IRQ. They do not necesseraly correspond with the ones
from Windows.
Mine are for example : IO Port 240 and IRQ 10.
The free IRQ on your system you should find easely. Just run the sndconfig
as long as you need to get the sound test. That's the way I did it and it
worked also for some others.
