Hello,
I have a Red Hat 5.1. I would like to use the kickstart installation,
but I get problems using this. I read the file README.ks from CD and I
chose use the Static IP to get information about the network for the new
machine. I tried to do the kickstart installation on a computer that
already had Windows95, I don't know why, but I couldn't complete it.. As
the README.ks said, I copy my ks.cfg to the boot diskette and include
the "ks=floppy" option on the boot command. When the boot was completed,
the ks.cfg couldn't be copied, the message that I get was:
Error opening files for kickstart copy : File exists
There is a special method to copy the file to the diskette? Is it caused
by another mistake?
Thank you,
Flavia Regina Munhoz
