I want my Cisco 2511 router to be able to boot from my RHL 5.1 via tftp. I
also want to be able to save the router configuration via tftp to my Linux
box.
I have un-commented tftp in inetd and tftp-0.10-3 is installed.
When I try to copy the router configuration to the Linux it fails but I
don't understand why. What confuses me is that the router isn't asking me
for a username/password. Isn't tftp using username/password? If not, where
will the configuration be saved?
Likewise, to boot from the Linux box I would need a username/password, don't
I?
I have search the HOWTO's etc.. but have not found an guide of howto setup a
tftp server. My RHL5.1 installation is pretty much the default installation.
