Mouse probs with x win

Hi 
I'm not sure if my first message went through... but I am getting a mouse
port not open message when I try to start xwin.  The mouse was found at
cau1(com2?).  I think it is linked also.  it is a serial mouse.  Any ideas
or thoughts please e-mail me.  Thanks very very very much.
