Hi,
I have a system that had Redhat 5.1 installed on it for some time, as the
second SCSI disk off of my Adaptec 1542 SCSI adapter. I have added a second
SCSI adapter - an Adaptec 2940UW, and I want to move all my disks to this
adapter.
I've built a new kernel which has drivers for both the 1542 and 2940 in
it. I can make a bootdisk for this kernel, but I don't know how to make
a bootdisk that will boot off of the other adapter. Is there some way
to patch my bootdisk appropriately to change the root device?
Thanks,
Bob
