Re: Screen telltale?

Brad,

That appears to be controlled from the init file. I didn't get that
initially when I installed, but I found the file /etc/X11/fvwm2/system.fvwm2rc
and copied to $HOME/fvwm2rc.m4 and I got the icon bar. It can be customized or
modified by editing that fvwm2rc.m4 file. Since you already have that
inititalizing, check to see if the file already exists in your home directory.

The file can be modified to change the menus that pop up when you left
click. And I changed the launch bar to spawn rxvt for term windows,
Communicator instead of Netscape, vim instead of the ( on my system )
non-existant textedit, etc. You can pick and choose what you want on that
launch bar, if you don't want to get rid of the whole thing...

As an old ex hpux-sysadmin I like having the virtual desktops again.
