Those messages were printed when the system tried to come back up. They
were not printed just before the system failed. My guess is that you had
a power failure and when the system tried to come back up when the power
was restored found a problem. This is what happens when you don't do a
proper shutdown. Get an UPS. One with a serial port interface and set
it up to do an automatic shutdown on power fail.
