Re: RH6.0, libc5, jdk problem

You could try getting pointers from www.blackdown.org.
And instead of Motif, you could try Lesstif which is free.

I'm trying to find a workable jdk package for RH6.0 with
libc5 on a machine that does not have motif on it. I keep
finding jdk-1.1.6.5-2libc5.i386.rpm which fails to install
because of the lack of a libXm component:

# rpm -i jdk-1.1.6.5-2libc5.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libXm.so.2 is needed by jdk-1.1.6.5-2libc5

Anyone have a pointer to a package with motif statically
linked in, or without the motif requirement? BTW, must work
with libc5 - I can't move to libc6.
