About PPP Server install!

Hi all:
I open a account for ppp login, and the ppp user exec the pppd as he login.
When i login ppp and the error message appear
"/usr/sbin/pppd: must be root to run /usr/sbin/pppd, since it is not
setuid-root"
WHy??? Help me please!! Thanks!!
