i downloaded 3 rpms from a site that says they are needed for
Voodoo Banshee support under xfree86. they installed just fine.
when running XF86Setup i'm able to select intellimouse and then 'a'
for apply the changes (unusually this is all in graphics mode). even
after applying the changes all mouse movements are erratic.. the
pointer stays at the top of the screen.. and cannot make any
changes to selections in the middle of the screen.
i was able to startx and i guess the initial install of redhat where it
asked what mouse stuck and all seemed to be well with the
exception of it being run in VGA16 which the Voodoo Banshee
webpage said that was needed for those things to work. (did not
work with SVGA). i would very much like to have Gnome like
Win98.. with only 1 screen. without the windows going off the
bottom with no way to get down there.
any pointers, helpl, suggestions appreciated!
