Linux Gurus! Please help!
I have a (fairly) old PC: 386DX, 4MB RAM, VGA, 4BG HDD and a 40X CD
drive. At the moment I am using ancient Slackware Linux 1.2.3. I am trying
to load Redhat linux 6.0 from CD (which I acquired recently). Since I can
not boot my PC from CDROM drive, I created boot disk image on floppy and
tried to boot. While booting all my hardware was properly detected and
there were not error messages. But my PC always hang in between the boot
process with following error message:
RAMDISK: compressed image found at block 0
I am unable to figure out what's wrong. Can somebody help me?
Thanks,
Atul.
