what are the best tools to detect if someone is port scanning my
machines (for Back Orrifice etc) and or doing DOS attacks against us..?
I need something that will notify me maybe by email when such an attack
is happeneing as wellas report log files etc...
also, once ihave a tool that detecks such attacks, whats the best way to
keep them from happening - prevent them again etc..?
Matt
