My xWindows won't start. This is the error message I get -- bash: startx:
command not found
Here's what I did before this, when my xWindows was working fine.
When I setup the Blackdown JDK I added the path to my profile file in /etc.
I used vi to add ;/usr/local/jdk/bin to the end of the path. Then I saved
the file with !wq.
Then I added some user and group accounts in preparation to install Oracle
8i.
When I tried to login again, I could not start my xWindows with startx.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what is wrong, and how I can correct it?
Thank you,
Doug
