Problems running FTP install of Redhat 6.0

I'm trying to do an FTP install of Redhat 6.0 to a machine that I've just built
from scratch. I've successfully installed Redhat 5.1 using a CD on the machine,
so I know that the machine itself is ok. The machine is a K6-2 400 Mhz. It has
a Linksys PCI II Lan Card and a 3COM 3C900b Lan card as well. During install,
it seems to find and configure the LinkSys card fine, so that is the one that
I'm attempting to use. My ISP is @Home and my networking parameters are a
little strange:

IP: 24.6.1.xxx
Netmask: 255.255.254.0
Default Gateway: 24.2.204.1
DNS: 24.2.204.33

When I get done entering the above parameters, I get a dialog box saying
"SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable".

Alt-F3 Shows:
picked driver NE2000 PCI
running /bin/insmod /bin/insmod /modules/ne2k-pci.o
configuring eth0 ip: 24.6.1.xxx nm: 255.255.254.0 nw: 24.6.0.0 bc: 24.6.1.255
method selection completed
writing network information to /tmp/ifcfg-eth0
state saved to /tmp
error in exec of second stage loaded :-(
error: No such file or directory

Alt-F4 Shows:
<6> ne2k-pci.c: v0.99L 2/7/98 ...
<4> ne2k-pci.c: PCI NE2000 clone 'Winbond 89c940' at I/O 0xe000, IRQ 11
<4> eth0: PCI NE2000 found at 0xe000, IRQ11, xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
<6> device eth0 entered promiscuous mode
<6> device eth0 left promiscuous mode

Does anyone have any ideas or ways that I can make this work?

Thanks,
Craig
