Re: weird window manager

Oh POOP.
Mebbe I missed the point of these things.
Are they strictly for *developers* purposes?
Why did not someone say so?

Then they would be a good skeleton for experimenting
with inventing a new window manager and/or GUI.

I find it true that one has to "start somewhere".
Rather than start with nothing do they have a
basic wm to start with hence open source?

Then that I would understand.
I think its interesting how olwm looks like the mac os
sort of, at least one version I saw did, and I was wondering
what could be done with that if some guy/girl sat down
and started tampering around with it.

Like if the one who came out with that kde theme
that looks like the mac os was messing around with
the source of olwm and came up with it that way?

So conceivably someone could create an entirely
different wm or even GUI just by messing around with
the source from one of these wm's?

I have looked at the different wm's and gui's out there
and said "Hey that looks like---" [bare bones wm].
