Re: Installing RedHat 6.1 over FTP server.

Slightly off topic... well, sort of

I am interested in establishing an ftp site on my masquaraded gatway
computer
where in I would place all the necessary files to do an ftp install of
Redhat 6.1 on the other machines in my private network.

Is this what you all are doing?

Where can I get information on precisely 'which files and
subdirectories'
that I would need to download from say 'tux.org'?

Is there a way to download these files and keep all the necessary
permissions?

Sorry I'm a bit off topic. I'm new to this subject and it seemed a
good time to jump into the conversation.

Thanks in advance for any information you are able to share.

Johnny
