replacing video adapter

Hi,

I have RedHat 6.0 installed (recently). Now, I just replaced my Cirrus
Logic 543x video adapter with an ATI Xpert Play98 card. To my surprise,
everything work as before, both under KDE and Gnome. But I assume I might be
"missing something"...

If I launch Xconfigurator from a terminal in KDE, it seems to detect my ATI
card (RagePro_Mach64), but immediately brings me back to the terminal with
the following message: "Server does'nt exist, can't continue. Tried to use
../..usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_Mach64"

What does this mean exactely, and what should I do about it?

Thanks,

Robert Landry
