When I upgraded from RH5.0 to RH6.0 I had the same problem. rvplayer was broken. I
think it has to do with incompatibilities between the new glibc and the older glibc
(or libc) that rvplayer was compiled under.
Try downloading the new G2 Realplayer from:
http://proforma.real.com/real/player/linuxplayer.html
I downloaded this and it runs fine under RH6.0.
