Printing still gone to hell

James, thank you for the script I have played  with it alot,  and I still
think
we have a great problem with prining.  the lpr daemon just doesn't  wake
up all the time.  (Ie)  file spooled unable to start daemon.  after looking
at the
process status the lpd daemon was up and running but failes to spon
a child to take care of the spool file.   .  I wonder if the
lprng software might work better anyone know about that stuff, thanks all
