Why , with a plain hardware modem that can be seen by NT Server on a
dual boot machine (linux and NT), can't Linux see it? When running
minicom from gnome, the application just closes, not finding any modem.
I have looked at documentation but there is precious little about
setting up a modem. Could someone give me a clue.
