repartition hard disk?

hey guys,

i have this small hard disk that i use for linux, and i'm getting a bigger
hard disk that i'll be using down that road. so i'm thinking about
converting this small hard disk to run Win98 on it. i tried to
re-partition it into one single partition using a regular dos disk, but it
always say i have to delete the logical part before i delete any others, 
and it doesn't list any logical part at all.

any ideas of what i should do?
