I just went through an ordeal with the "resolv.conf", and if you have the first
line in that file that says "search yourisp.com", you better make sure enter
"search" again on the second line before putting in your DNS numbers. I went
through hell because of the absence of a single word. If you want the correct
entries with the syntax that will work, do not do a manual entry, let "netcfg"
set it up for you. Plus "netcfg" will insure other needed parameters are setup.
