Ok, I switched to runlevel 5, which is, I presume, how you are running.
That is, when you boot up you get the graphical loging screen, and not a
plain text mode screen.  I did a bunch of screwing around with things,
and in the process managed to make enlightenment not come up.  Anyway, I
think I figured out what you need to do.
