POP3D..Help..Please!

Good afternoon,

I have two servers, each running RH 5.2; both recently upgraded.

On one server the error message 'being read already' followed by the mail
directory is displayed when trying to access mail by way of the pop3
server. Both machines are not using any configuration file for pop.

Anybody have some clues what the problem is or where to start looking?
