I'm glad that the system has finally willingly detected my network card
after my self-agreed final attempt to reinstall 5.2. I did not do anything
new, simply repeating what I've been doing for the past few times. This
shows that Linux is still fairly unreliable.
Thanks Paul Jacobs's and Andrea Meyer's replies to my "3C905B / Intel
EtherExpress Pro 10/100" mail. Now, I don't need to get another card.
