I know of a few suggestions:

1. See if you can use Disk Druid (comes with RH 5.x, but I'm not sure where
they stick it) to flag the partition your home directory is on as
"growable" and let it grow (assumes you have unpartitioned space, BTW I've
never tried this it may be impossible).

2. Get a sufficient amount of free space from somewhere to hold a copy of
the partition your home directory is on (probably home is itself the mount
point of a partition, making this fairly easy) and any others that you may
have to move. Copy over all the stuff from those partitions, then use fdisk
to re-partition to your hearts content and then copy the stuff back over
(this works, but can be messy and time consuming).

3. Get a copy of Partition Magic 4.0 (or later if a newer version exists)
which can do fun things with ext2 file systems. It should allow you to move
partitions around and resize them without deleting anything.

4. (what I did when I had this problem) get a new hard drive, then format
(sorry dos relic, I mean "mkext2fs" it naturally) it and mount it as /home
:)

Who is this General Failure, and why is he reading my hard disk?
