RH5.2 & MRTG

I'm trying to use MRTG to monitor the bandwidth through my Redhat 5.2 Linux
machine Ethernet card.  Has anyone successfully accomplished this?  I tried
the MRTG mailing list, but it doesn't appear active.  Here is my network
map:

(Central Office) <-> (ADSL) <-> (Redhat 5.2 Server)
